I am an African dad, proud bearer of dreadlocks, and self-proclaimed Grand Master in the art of juggling responsibilities that never sleep. My life feels like an action movie, but with more spilled milk on the keyboard and fewer explosions (though a 2-year-old’s tantrum comes pretty close).
In the eye of this hurricane, I lead a small troop of three biracial warriors with light eyes, who are both my greatest sources of motivation and my most formidable project managers:
- The Eldest (6 years old): A top-tier diplomat, already an expert in negotiating screen time.
- The Champion (4 years old): Capable of turning a tidy living room into a battlefield in under 12 seconds.
- The Little One (2 years old): The true “Mini-Boss.” She doesn’t say much yet, but everyone already obeys.

Why did I create yims.me? Because leading a demanding career while raising three kids and keeping a hawk-eye on finances is a true epic quest.
